We have been very clear over the past year that Avon Bulbs will cease trading from its current site at Burnt House Farm at the end of April 2024. There are discussions ongoing with prospective purchasers for the business name, the reputation, goodwill and fabulous mailing list of past and present customers as well as the growing stock and plant material. All that is for relocation elsewhere as we intend to remain on the property. If there are any other interested parties who have yet to enquire about the business their interest would still be welcomed.

We are grateful for the support, encouragement, custom and comradery that our customers have provided over the past 37 years that we have owned the business. We have been told too often over the past months that we will be missed but life moves on and the body and mind are not as sharp as they once were (if ever). Time for a new chapter in our case.

The website will remain visible for a while as a point of reference.

Apart from the bulbs and plants we offer some ‘non seasonal’ items such pots that are suitable for your smaller bulbs or snowdrops as well as a range of gloves, snowdrop cards  and our unique Five Year Diary. All of these can be ordered along with any plants or entirely separately.
