Alstroemeria psittacina (pulchella)
A native of Brasil, the Parrot Lily produces foliage to 1' followed by a flower stalk producing green and red trumpet shaped flowers in a radial pattern. Reputed to be slightly more tender but we know them to grow in some very cold gardens very well. Flowering in June/July to 24”.(60 cm) tall. Excellent as cut flowers.

May be slightly tender but we know them to grow in some very cold gardens very well. Best planted 4"-5" in rich soil in a warm, sheltered and sunny site to establish. Mulch in cold gardens in the winter.
