Members of the ginger family from the Himalayas with broad canna like leaves that may be scorched by unbroken summer sun so may do better in a little shade. Planting instructions
Plant roots 4" deep in good soil with adequate summer moisture and in the sun, about 6" apart. Grow in a shaded mixed border or in a woodland setting.
