An old variegated form of Lily of the Valley, with dramatic golden edges to the leaves. Spring flowering plants of woodland origins with stringy rhizomes under the soil. They like humus rich soil and part shade but everyone’s experience of growing these is different, and as is reported to us, they will grow in the most unlikely places, but do need patience to begin with
Planting instructions
Keep the rhizomes moist before planting and bury them 3” (8cm) below the soil horizontally. Plant in leafy fertile humus rich soil in full or part shade. Top dress with leaf mould in autumn.
