Green leaved Lily of the Valley with gold highlights.
Order Code: 75-8
Convallaria majalis variegata
Green and gold marked leaves, but (like every form we have ever grown, and there have been many) a little fickle, with variably gold marked leaves. Like the others these are rhizomatous perennials found in light woodland scrub in northern temperate regions. Still scented. The white Lily of the Valley is the National Flower of Finland and the flowers are traditionally sold in Paris on May 1st.
Planting instructions
Keep the rhizomes moist before planting and bury them 3” (7.5) below the soil horizontally. Plant in leafy fertile humus rich soil in full or part shade. Top dress with leaf mould in autumn. Gold marked leaves, ideally placed where they get some sun.
