Cyclamen hederifolium
The RHS Award of Garden Merit is awarded for ease of cultivation, excellence and constitution.
Perhaps the toughest and most enduring. Beautiful ivy-shaped, glossy-marked leaves which are visible all winter after flowering, mostly pink but some white flowered. These may need a further year to flower really well in August to November.
Planting instructions
Cyclamen tubers thrive best in lighter soils rich in leafmould; if drainage is a problem, lashings of grir may help. Acid to limey pH makes little difference and they should all be planted 1" (2.5cm) deep and about 5" (12cm) apart or dotted about. Do think too about the varied tapestry achievable from their leaves. Perfect companions to aconites, snowdrops and crocus.
These bulbs will be despatched from mid August for planting in late Summer
