Erythronium revolutum Knightshayes
These are woodland plants for semi shade in spring and shade in summer. They love moist-ish conditions when they are growing but are happy with a dry rest in summer when dormant. Pink reflexed flowers in March and April about 6" (15cm) tall with leaves that are sometimes handsomly mottled in two tone green and brown.
Planting instructions
This species in particular does not really like limey soils, but humus or leafmold rich growing conditions are best.
