Eucomis bicolor
The RHS Award of Garden Merit is awarded for ease of cultivation, excellence and constitution but not necessarily hardiness. They are scented, though some find the smell reminds them of cooked cabbage, but one can hardly fault their flowering and interesting seed heads from late August till the frosts, Lime-green flowers, edged in purple, often with darkly mottled stems. Planting instructions
Plant in good soil in the sun 5" deep, 7" apart or in pots in a sunny position. Water well in summer.
