Gladiolus Comet
These shorter 'nanus' type Gladioli are not tall enough to need staking when in flower and will not overpower the garden as the big ones tend to. Flowering in the early summer they do grow away in the early spring and may get caught by severe late frosts.
Planting instructions
Plant in fertile, well drained soil, 4-6” (10-15cm) deep, 4” (10cm) apart in clumps, with added grit if drainage is not good. Apply a high-potash liquid fertiliser when spikes reach about 8” (20cm).
