A Japanese species with dark green narrow leaves and flowers held well on taller stems, Opening at night (though don't wait up , they can be admired by day !) these have star shaped yellow flowers, green at the throat and on the backs, and with a lovely fragrance. Deep rooting and vigorous. Flowering in July / August to 30".

Plant 3" deep, 12" apart in a sunny site in well prepared soil receiving adequate summer rain.
