Polygonatum x hybridum Grace Barker
Belonging to the Solomon's Seal family, this plant is rarely offered but is quite startling when established in a clump. It flowers in May/June and reaches 18"-24" (45cm-60cm) tall. Their only problem is their appeal to the saw fly caterpillar and an eye needs to be kept on them for quick action in May when they are active.
Planting instructions
These are hardy perennials that grow in most situations preferring the more moisture retentive heavier soil types. They will mostly grow rather taller in the shade. For woodland or similar situations of shade or part shade in moist soil. Plant 4-5" deep and 5" apart.
