Iris unguicularis Abington Purple
A narrow leaved form with dark flowers, the standards larger and often curled back over themselves. It does need a warm and more sheltered spot, probably not as tough as the others, but neater
Planting Instructions
Do provide a very sheltered, sunny site in well drained soil. Allow 12" spread and height. Water in until established. Tidy foliage by pulling out old leaves, severe cutting back is not recommended.
