The Dormant Snowdrops on the Avon Bulbs website are available having been recently unpotted and graded. They are at flowering size and are all from twin scale production over the past 5 years.
These will be sent out immediately (on their own, unless you have a ‘Late Summer’ order with us in which case we would try and send these together). There is a postage charge of £3.00 per order regardless of order size
All snowdrops prefer cool moist conditions in spring and a surprisingly dry summer dormancy in the shade.
If you are interested in Snowdrop collecting then you should read "Snowdrops : A monograph ofcultivated Galanthus" by Bishop, Davis and Grimshaw now into its second edition which was published by Griffin Press in 2006.
