Order Code: 128-6
Tecophiliaea cyanocrocus violacea
The fabled Chilean crocus - now thought to be extinct in the native habitats. March 5" (12cm).
Planting instructions
Best grown in pots in well-drained, gritty compost - ideally in an alpine house. They grow best in cool conditions, but dislike long frozen spells when in leaf. The reward in March is electric. Few bulbs exhibit such deep colours. They need a dry dormancy after flowering.
These bulbs will be despatched from mid August for planting in late Summer
