A May-flowering Single Mid-Season Tulip. Dominantly orange flowered with deeper purple and ochre staining from the base of the flower. On dark stems it lacks great height (15", 38cm tall) but the flowers last much longer, may be multiheaded and have a great scent. It is reputed to last better in the garden also.
Probably best alone, great with acid green foliage.
Planting instruction
Plant the bulbs 5"(12cm) deep and 5" (12cm) apart, or allow 7-9 per square foot in a sunny apect.
