Tulipa Apricot Parrot
Parrot tulips have unusual fringed or feathery petals that create a spectacular display of form and colour in the garden. Apricot Parrot has creamy, peachy coloured petals, with green stripes and flame coloured feathering. The flower grows to 18” (45cm) in height can be up to 12” (30cm) in diameter opening out almost full in the sun as it matures. A more protected position would be sensible, the heads become heavy with water in rain and are then more affected by strong winds.
Planting instructions
Plant 5” (12cm) deep in well drained soil, in a more sheltered position, 5” (12cm) apart.
