Tulipa Gavota
A Triumph tulip with deep burgundy red flowers, quite pointed in bud, opening to show a broad deep yellow band around the petal edges. They are useful to ‘tone down’ other extravagant reds in the planting scheme and work well with brick and terracotta walls or planters nearby. Ideally for a sunny site flowering in late April at 18” (45cm) tall.
Looks good with Maja, Ballerina and Abu Hassan
Planting instructions
Plant the bulbs 5” (12cm) deep and 5” (12cm) apart, or allow 7-9 per square foot, in a sunny aspect.
