White and ivory petals with a central green band on strong stems.
Order Code: 131-51
Tulipa Spring Green
Coolly elegant, the petals each having a broad band of fresh green with a broad white edge, fading to ivory by the green band. In the border, planted in groups of 5 or more, it teams well with silver foliage plants and other shades of green as well as offering some relief from the stronger colours in other tulips. Never quite as regimented as some varieties so perhaps not so good for that purpose. Good strong stems for flower arranging. It flowers in April/May growing to 18” (45cm) or more. AGM.
With everything.
Planting instruction
Plant 6” (15cm) deep, 5” (12cm) apart in well-drained, fertile soil, preferably in full sun.
