Tulipa whittallii

Flowering at 8-10” (20-25cm) this is not such a dwarf tulip but requires the same conditions of a well drained soil in the sun or part shade where it flowers in May with star shaped petals forming a bowl, bronzy-orange in colour, with a dark base within and greenish tinges on the outside.
Planting instructions
Well drained soil in sun or part shade will suit, planted 3-4” (7-10cm) deep and 3” (7cm) apart.
