Low growing, quite tussocky plants with narrow twisted blue-green foliage. The lilac pompoms which are carried in profusion are adored by the insects. They need open sunny conditions. These are lifted as fresh-dug divisions. 

Planting Instructions

Allium senescens ssp glaucum are from divisions and are not true bulbs. Best in sunny well drained soils in the sun. Plant 1.5" (4cm) deep just to anchor them in, watering if dry, about 4" (10cm) apart.
