A purple tipped selection of a species that grows in the mountain chains of eastern Europe, described in the March 2020 edition of the RHS Plant Review and named after a generous and great plantsman from near Reigate. It has been found to be robust in cultivation but is still only available in limited numbers.

Planting Instructions

Crocus Harry Hay bulbs should be planted 3" (8cm) deep and in groups of 3/5 only 2" (5cm) apart,in lighter soil or thin grass,in some shade. To naturalise, do not mow the grass too short or too early.
