Despatched with Late Summer or Autumn orders
Less hardy than C. coum and really requiring winter protection against the wet in particular. Strongly spicily scented – with long lasting pale pink flowers
Not reckoned to be hardy enough to be grown outside all year round. Spicily scented so a nice addition to a conservatory or greenhouse in a pot for the winter. Plant them in fairly free draining compost with barely 1” (3cm) compost covering the tuber with the slightly more hollow (or indented) side uppermost. In leaf in winter, in flower in the late spring and dormant in the summer when they can be left dry and shaded.
Flowers March / April
