Muscari botryoides album is a smaller form with pale leaves, with neat strings of little pearls strung on pale stems. Additionally it is scented and is no thug. The ''Grape Hyacinths'' as the name implies are heavily scented. All do well in the drier, sunny conditions provided under deciduous shrubs in spring, with summer shade, but also make delightful subjects for mixed spring containers.
Muscari botryoides album bulbs should be planted 3" (8cm) deep and 2-3" (5-8cm) apart. These plants need well drained soils in spring sunshine with dry and shaded conditions in summer.
