Delivered to you from November
Narcissus Sailboat is pale and interesting with a pleasant perfume, it reminds one of Narcissus Jenny which is very popular in the same colours but with very low commercial stocks is rather hard to obtain.
This plant/cultivar has been awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit because it has proved to be reliable in appropriate conditions and a good performing plant.
Narcissus Sailboat bulbs should be planted about 4-5" (10-12 cm) deep and 4-5" (10-12cm) apart in good soil. where they will remain cool, moist and safe from activity above them in the summer. They should clump up in time. Do not be tempted to cut back or tidy the foliage after flowering as this period of replenishment of the bulb''s starchy food reserves is critical to future flowering. A liquid feed while starchy leaves are still green will benefit clumps in poorer soil.
Flowers March / April
Height 14" (35cm)
