Tulipa Merlot

Tulipa Merlot is less evidently pointed but still tall and elegantly poised with flowers that mimic a large wine glass in both shape and content, there can be no doubt about how the name arose.

Planting Instructions

Tulipa Merlot bulbs should be deeply planted with about 5" (12cm) of free draining soil over the bulb in a sunny site. Don't be in a rush to get the tulips in the ground as they will benefit from planting in late October or early November, by which time the first frosts will have reduced the level of disease in the soil.
