Winterzauber (winter magic) is a named form of the Winter Aconite and is usually in flower before the bulk of the snowdrops. It is a sterile, golden flowered and early form and was discovered in about 1980 near Erfurt, Germany.

Plant 3" (8cm) apart somewhere under deciduous trees where the sun and rain fall on them in Spring and in summer they get a dry rest.
