Price is for one bulb.
Narrow petalled with all the petals being washed in pale green this is a distinctive and slightly awkward looking plant with the pedicel held erect resulting in a flower that does not hang. It is over-topped by an exaggerated curving spathe. Found in The Ditch at East Lambrook Manor Gardens in 1987 and named after the famous garden writer and plantswoman who developed the garden. Supplied as dormant bulbs.
Plant the bulbs immediately. If planting them in the ground use the smallest size of aquatic mesh pots to aid containment and identification. Fill with improved soil based potting medium and a little sharp sand. Label carefully and water sparingly until autumn.
