The price is for one bulb
Unusually early flowered form of G.plicatus with rounded flowers with puckered markings on the outers. Found by John Morley in Suffolk in 1984. Early enough to sometimes be in flower at Christmas, sometimes even earlier. The name comes from the Christmas carol. Supplied as dormant bulbs.
Plant the bulbs immediately. If planting them in the ground use the smallest size of aquatic mesh pots to aid containment and identification. Fill with improved soil based potting medium and a little sharp sand. Label carefully and water sparingly until autumn.
