A sport of G. Viridapice which many will know well, but the flower on these is held between the ‘rabbit’s ears’ that are the spathe and so face upwards, hence the dizzying naming. As the flower matures it does get released. Supplied as dormant bulbs.
Plant the bulbs immediately. If planting them in the ground use the smallest size of aquatic mesh pots to aid containment and identification. Fill with improved soil based potting medium and a little sharp sand. Label carefully and water sparingly until autumn.
