Due to the early Snowdrop season we are experiencing we anticipate starting to send out snowdrops as soon as the weather allows and probably in January, if this does not suit you please tell us on your order (use the Delivery instructions field) or contact us by phone after ordering.

GB ORDERS      £4.95

Delivery to GB Addresses is £4.95 which also includes an acknowledgement, expert packing in strong boxes, comprehensive labelling, and an email notifying you that your order has been despatched. You will also get the latest catalogues in the future. 

If yours is a small parcel we may may reduce the P & P ourselves when raising the invoice.

Delivery of packages of less than 2 kg is made by Royal Mail. Giving us an email address will ensure that we send you an email to advise you that your parcel has been despatched and to expect it shortly. Parcels over 2 kg are delivered by DPD Local (next working day) and you will receive an automatic email confirming that your parcel has been despatched. A further email from DPD Local will confirm the delivery date and indicate the anticipated delivery slot. If you provide your mobile phone number this should result in you being notified by text of an intended delivery by DPD Local the evening before delivery. Although DPD Local usually requires the parcel to be signed for if you can provide leaving instructions should you be out when your parcel is delivered such as a suitable safe place or a neighbour we can instruct DPD to leave the parcel without a signature. We reserve the right to charge the cost of redelivery where the parcel is returned to us. If you intend being away, please let us know, so we can plan your delivery to avoid these dates. For Scottish Highlands and Islands. Isle of Wight. Isle of Man and The Scilly Isles we may need to add a surcharge dependant on parcel weight and these destinations are generally sent by Royal Mail or ParcelForce. The Channel Islands may also need a surcharge dependant on weight and will be sent by Royal Mail or ParcelForce. Orders to the Channel Islands are sent without VAT being applied.

Collection can be made from our address. We will notify you when the order is ready and we then agree a date for collection at times when we are open for this. Postage is waived for collections.

We do occasionally make mistakes and we try hard to put these right. If we unwittingly provide bulbs which are not true to name we will replace them. If you are worried about the condition of a delivery please let us know immediately so that we can rectify the situation. However we cannot be held responsible for the bulbs once they have been received. Nature is sometimes unkind and though most bulbs are tough, they do have their limits.

NI & EUROPEAN ORDERS   from £15.00

If the Delivery Address for your order is either in Northern Ireland or anywhere in the European Union, it is now a requirement for us to obtain a Phytosanitary Certificate to cover the plants on your order. These will cost approximately £15 per order and as those plants have to be sent free of soil there may be an additional charge for cleaning up 'difficult to clean' plants. No growing (ie Potted) plants can be sent on account of this rule. This means that we cannot send you our Snowdrops 'in the green' - which would also require a CITES Certificate for every order (the cost of which is £76). We realise that this will be a big disappointment to many, and is a considerable blow to us. We suggest that anyone from the EU or NI wanting to purchase Galanthus (Snowdrops) that you check with us that your name is on our Dormant Snowdrop availability list for August (you can do this yourselves in your Account Preferences). Please do not try to buy them in-the-green for spring delivery. By then we may have found a way to send these bulbs outside of Britain at reasonable cost. The rules are still unclear. We will acknowledge and respond to your orders individually by email and explain what we think that we can do and the anticipated costs. Please do not rely on the automatic response to your order as a confirmation that we can send it, or that the costs are accurate.

Your orders are handled in much the same way as GB orders but we do ask you to pay by Credit Card so that we can adjust your postage and additional charges. Parcels under 2kg are sent by air using the Royal Mail Small Packet rate. These have no tracking or trace facility. Parcels over 2kg are sent with international carriers and have tracking capability. The minimum charge per parcel is £15.00 for delivery and handling regardless of order value.

For larger (2-29kg) single parcels to Europe the following is provided as a guide only for any parcel using DPD 3-5 day service.

Republic of Ireland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, France, Germany £22, Denmark, Austria £25.00, Italy, Spain, Czech Rep, Slovakia £32.00, Rest of European Union £38.00 except Cyprus and Malta which are particularly expensive to ship to so it is probably worth telephoning us before you order. 

VAT to EU Customers. We will remove the VAT (included at 20% in our prices) from our invoices to you but it is possible that you may have to pay the Delivery agent a VAT charge before you can get your parcel delivered. We can do nothing about this, sorry.
