‘Jacorma’ is a wonderfully late-flowering herbaceous peony, ideal for extending the peony season when many other varieties are finishing. It forms a strong, upright clump of deep green, divided foliage and produces large, fully double, scented pink blooms (around 15cm across) that make a real statement in the border and are superb for cutting. Expect it to reach around 0.5–1m tall over time, with sturdy stems and a long-lived habit once settled in the garden. Plant it in a sunny, sheltered spot with good drainage and it will reward you for years—often improving in flower power as the plant matures
When to Plant:
Plant bare root peonies in autumn (ideal) or in early spring while dormant, avoiding periods when the ground is frozen or waterlogged.
Where to Plant:
Choose a sunny, sheltered position in a deep, fertile, humus-rich soil that is moist but well-drained. Peonies will tolerate partial shade but flower best with plenty of sun. Ideal for mixed borders, cottage gardens and as a cut flower.
How to Plant:
Watering:
Water well after planting. Keep the soil evenly moist while establishing, then water during prolonged dry spells—especially in spring and early summer.
