Planting Instructions

When to Plant:

Plant Geranium sanguineum in spring or autumn when the soil is workable. Avoid planting during periods of hard frost or into waterlogged ground.

Choose a position in full sun or partial shade with well-drained soil. This hardy geranium is very adaptable and works well in borders, rockeries, containers and as ground cover.

How to Plant:

• Depth: Plant so the top of the rootball sits level with the soil surface.
• Spacing: Space plants about 30–40 cm (12–16 inches) apart.
• Soil Prep: Improve soil with garden compost before planting. Ensure good drainage, especially in heavier soils.

Watering:
