Elegant, timeless and effortlessly sophisticated, Tulipa 'Spring Green' is one of the most celebrated Viridiflora Tulips, prized for its distinctive ivory-white blooms, each beautifully brushed with fresh emerald-green flames. With its graceful colouring and exceptionally long flowering period, this award-winning tulip brings a fresh, contemporary feel to the late spring garden.
Unlike traditional tulips, the striking green stripe running through each petal remains vivid throughout flowering, giving the blooms a uniquely crisp and architectural appearance. The elongated, goblet-shaped flowers open gradually to reveal creamy-white petals accented by vibrant green, creating a display that remains attractive for several weeks.
Flowering in May, 'Spring Green' reaches 45–60cm in height and is carried on strong, weather-resistant stems, making it perfect for borders, patio containers and cutting gardens. Its understated elegance allows it to blend effortlessly with almost every colour palette, pairing beautifully with deep purple tulips such as 'Queen of Night', soft pinks like 'Groenland', ornamental Alliums and blue Camassias.
Awarded the prestigious Royal Horticultural Society Award of Garden Merit (AGM), Tulipa 'Spring Green' is renowned for its outstanding garden performance, reliability and exceptionally long-lasting blooms. It is also one of the finest tulips for floral arrangements, where its fresh colouring adds elegance and structure.
A truly iconic tulip that deserves a place in every spring garden.
