Its graceful, mounding habit and attractive, deeply cut foliage make it a versatile choice for borders, containers, and ground cover. Exceptionally easy to grow and low-maintenance, ‘Rozanne’ thrives in sun or partial shade, bringing effortless beauty, resilience, and a long season of colour to any garden.

Planting Instructions

Geranium ‘Rozanne’ is an award-winning, hardy perennial, famous for its long flowering season and masses of violet-blue blooms with pale centres. It’s ideal for borders, groundcover, or spilling from pots.

When to Plant:
Plant in spring or early autumn, avoiding frost or extreme heat.

Where to Plant:
Choose a sunny or lightly shaded position in fertile, moist but well-drained soil. ‘Rozanne’ tolerates partial shade but flowers best with at least half a day of sun.

How to Plant:

  • Depth: Plant so the crown is level with the surrounding soil.
  • Spacing: 50–60 cm (20–24 inches) apart to allow for spread.
  • Tip: Water thoroughly after planting to help establish roots.

Aftercare:
Water regularly in the first season until well established. Remove faded blooms and cut back lightly after the first flush to encourage fresh growth and more flowers. In late autumn, trim back old foliage to ground level.

Top Tip:
For a stunning summer display, plant alongside ornamental grasses or repeat-flowering roses — ‘Rozanne’ will weave beautifully between them and flower right into the first frosts.
