Echinacea

Echinacea (Coneflower) is a summer garden superstar, loved for its bold, daisy-like flowers with raised central cones and its incredible ability to keep blooming for weeks on end. Flowering from mid-summer into autumn, it brings rich colour and structure to borders, prairie-style planting and large containers, in shades of pink, purple, white, orange and soft sunset tones. Echinacea is brilliantly pollinator-friendly, attracting bees and butterflies, and later the seed heads are loved by birds too – plus they look fantastic left standing for winter interest. Easy, hardy and drought tolerant once established, it’s a must-have for sunny gardens.
