1 x Digitalis purpurea ‘Foxy Mix’ 1 x Lupin ‘Legendary Blue’ 1 x Geranium ‘Rozanne’ ( 3 x 2ltr Potted Plants)

Create a timeless cottage garden display with this beautiful Cottage Garden Collection, featuring three classic perennial favourites supplied as strong 2 litre plants.

This carefully selected trio combines the elegant flower spires of Digitalis purpurea ‘Foxy Mix’, the rich blue blooms of Lupin ‘Legendary Blue’, and the exceptionally long-flowering Geranium ‘Rozanne’. Together they create a relaxed, romantic planting scheme filled with colour, height and texture from late spring through to autumn.

Perfect for mixed borders, cottage garden planting and pollinator-friendly spaces, this collection offers both structure and softness, with flowers highly attractive to bees and butterflies. The upright foxgloves and lupins provide height and drama, while Geranium ‘Rozanne’ weaves through the front of borders with masses of violet-blue blooms.

Easy to grow and wonderfully rewarding, these hardy perennials return year after year, gradually creating a natural, established garden feel.

Supplied as strong 2 litre plants, ready to establish quickly and provide reliable seasonal colour.

Planting Instructions

When to Plant:

Plant in spring or autumn when the soil is workable. Avoid planting during periods of hard frost or into waterlogged ground.

Where to Plant:
Choose a position in full sun or partial shade with moist but well-drained soil. This collection is ideal for cottage garden borders, mixed perennial beds and pollinator-friendly planting schemes.

How to Plant:

  • Depth: Plant so the top of each rootball sits level with the soil surface.
  • Spacing: Space plants approximately 40–60 cm (16–24 inches) apart to allow room for growth.
  • Soil Prep: Improve soil with garden compost or organic matter before planting to encourage healthy establishment.

Watering:
Water thoroughly after planting and keep the soil consistently moist while plants establish. Continue watering during prolonged dry periods, especially in the first growing season.

Aftercare Tips:

  • Deadhead spent flowers to encourage further blooms and keep plants tidy.
  • Support taller flower spikes if growing in exposed areas.
  • Cut back faded growth at the end of the season.

Top Tip:
Plant together in drifts for a classic cottage garden effect, combining upright flower spikes with softer spreading colour at the front of the border.
