Planting Instructions for Galanthus nivalis 'Flore Pleno' (Double Snowdrop) – Dry Bulbs

• When to Plant: Autumn (September to November), while the bulbs are dormant.
• Where to Plant: Choose a spot in partial shade to full sun. Ideal under deciduous trees, in woodland borders, or naturalised in grass.
• Soil Requirements: Moist but well-drained soil. Enrich with leaf mould or compost if heavy or poor. Avoid waterlogged ground.
• How to Plant:
  – Depth: 5–7cm deep (twice the height of the bulb)
  – Spacing: 5–7cm apart in groups for best effect
• Aftercare: Water well after planting. Allow foliage to die back naturally after flowering to feed the bulb. Bulbs will multiply over time with little maintenance.

Note: Dry bulbs may take a year to establish before flowering fully. Patience is rewarded with a charming, long-lived display.
