Galanthus Snow Fox is an exquisite snowdrop cultivar, cherished for its pristine white blooms and delicate green markings. Flowering early in the year, it brings a touch of quiet elegance to winter gardens, often blooming through frost and snow. With gently arching stems and nodding flowers, Snow Fox offers timeless charm and natural grace. Ideal for naturalising in drifts or tucking into pots, it’s a captivating herald of spring’s approach.

Planting Instructions

When to Plant:
Plant dry Galanthus bulbs in late summer to early autumn (August to October), allowing time for root development before winter sets in.

Where to Plant:
Choose a cool, partly shaded position – under deciduous trees, in lawns, or naturalised in borders. Snowdrops thrive in humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil that doesn’t dry out in summer.

How to Plant:

  • Depth: 5–7cm (2–3 inches) deep
  • Spacing: 5–7cm apart in small clumps or drifts
  • Plant with the pointed end facing upwards.

Aftercare:
Water well after planting and keep the soil moist, especially during dry spells. Apply a mulch of leaf mould or compost annually. Avoid disturbing clumps once established – they’ll bulk up and naturalise beautifully over time.

Tip:

Snowdrops are happiest left undisturbed. For best results, plant them as soon as they arrive and mark the spot to avoid accidental damage later in the year.

Perfect for naturalising, Galanthus 'Snow' brings a touch of purity and resilience to the coldest months.
