Gaupa Red • Gaupa Tango • Gaupa Flamenco - ( 3 x 2ltr Plants)

Bring bold colour and long-lasting summer performance to your garden with this vibrant Gaillardia Gaupa Collection, featuring three outstanding varieties: Gaupa Red, Gaupa Tango, and Gaupa Flamenco.

Renowned for their exceptional flowering power, these hardy perennials produce a continuous display of daisy-like blooms in rich, fiery shades of red, orange and warm bi-colours. Each plant forms a neat, compact clump topped with a profusion of flowers that appear from early summer right through to autumn.

Perfect for adding energy and warmth to borders, this collection is ideal for sunny planting schemes, gravel gardens, containers, and pollinator-friendly spaces. The nectar-rich blooms are highly attractive to bees and butterflies, while their long stems also make excellent cut flowers.

Supplied as strong 2 litre plants, this trio will establish quickly and deliver a reliable, colourful display with minimal effort. Plant together for a bold, coordinated look or space throughout the garden for repeated bursts of colour.

Planting Instructions

When to Plant:

Plant Gaillardia in spring or autumn when the soil is workable. Avoid planting during periods of hard frost or into waterlogged soil.

Where to Plant:
Choose a sunny position with well-drained soil. Gaillardia thrives in warm, open sites and is perfect for borders, gravel gardens and containers. Avoid heavy, wet soils, especially in winter.

How to Plant:

  • Depth: Plant so the top of the rootball sits level with the soil surface.
  • Spacing: Space plants about 30–40 cm (12–16 inches) apart.
  • Soil Prep: Improve soil with compost. In heavier soils, add grit or sharp sand to improve drainage.

Watering:
Water well after planting and keep the soil lightly moist while plants establish. Once established, Gaillardia is relatively drought tolerant, though watering during prolonged dry spells will encourage continued flowering.

Aftercare Tips:

  • Deadhead regularly to encourage more blooms and extend the flowering season.
  • Cut back plants after flowering to maintain a neat shape and encourage fresh growth.
  • Avoid overfeeding – Gaillardia prefers leaner soils.

Top Tip:
Plant this collection together for a bold, fiery display of reds and oranges that will light up sunny borders all summer long.
