Exceedingly drought-resistant plants from Southern Africa.  Members of the Lily family and in flower for months in Somerset. Some of these we can grow outside here in the south, mulched well in winter. In colder areas they are well suited to pots in full sun, brought in to over-winter somewhere cool but not frozen.
