With the new home of Avon now in Lincolnshire and the home of historic flower parade, this was truly a must feature. Bursting forth with creamy white petals and a striking, frilled pink trumpet. Standing tall, it brings elegance to borders, containers, and naturalised drifts. Blooming mid-spring, its graceful charm captures the joy of renewal, making it a cherished choice for gardeners seeking colour, heritage, and heart-stirring beauty in one unforgettable flower.

Planting Instructions

When to Plant:

Plant the bulbs in autumn – ideally between September and November, before the ground becomes too hard.

Where to Plant:
Choose a sunny or lightly shaded spot with well-drained soil. Narcissus do particularly well in borders, containers, or naturalised in grass.

How to Plant:

  • Depth: Plant bulbs 10–15cm (4–6 inches) deep.
  • Spacing: Leave about 10cm (4 inches) between bulbs.
  • Postion: Place the bulb with the pointed end facing upwards.

Aftercare:
Once flowering is over, allow the leaves to die back naturally. This process feeds the bulb for the following year’s display. Avoid cutting back or tying leaves too early.

Tip: For a stunning seasonal impact, plant in groups of at least 6–10 bulbs. This creates a natural-looking drift of colour and ensures a more impressive spring display.
