Dahlia ‘Floorinoor’ is not here to be subtle — it’s here to steal the show. The colours feature a carefully clashing medley of raspberry pink, coral orange and golden yellow that will absolutely knock your socks off. This is an anemone-flowering dahlia, with a bright, textured centre and an outer ruff of yellow petals that blend to pink around the edges, creating a vibrant, multi-toned bloom that looks different from every angle.
It’s a brilliant choice for sunny borders and patio pots where you can enjoy the detail up close, and it makes a fabulous cut flower for bold, upbeat bouquets. Like most dahlias, it will flower from midsummer right through to the first frosts with regular deadheading (or picking), so the display just keeps going.
When to Plant:
Plant Dahlia tubers in spring. For the earliest flowers, start tubers in pots indoors from March to April, then plant out once the risk of frost has passed. If planting directly outside, wait until late spring when the soil has warmed.
Where to Plant:
Choose a sunny, sheltered position with fertile, well-drained soil. Dahlias are ideal for mixed borders, cutting gardens and patio containers. They love warmth and perform best in full sun.
How to Plant:
Watering:
Water after planting. Once shoots appear and growth is underway, keep soil evenly moist, especially in dry spells. Avoid waterlogging. Container-grown Dahlias may need watering daily in hot weather.
