Geum

Geum is a brilliant little workhorse for the garden — hardy, easy to grow, and bursting with colour from late spring right through summer (and often beyond). Its bright, jewel-like flowers sit on airy stems above neat clumps of textured foliage, making it perfect for adding long-lasting colour without weighing a border down. Geums mix beautifully with cottage garden favourites, grasses and other perennials, and they’re ideal for borders, pots, and the front of beds where you can enjoy the blooms up close. Bonus: pollinators love them, and once established they’re reliably resilient in UK gardens.
