One of the earliest and most treasured heralds of spring, Iris reticulata 'Harmony' produces brilliant gentian-blue flowers that burst into bloom while much of the garden is still asleep.
Introduced in the 1950s, this award-winning dwarf iris has become one of the most popular early spring bulbs thanks to its intense colour, delightful fragrance and exceptional reliability. Each flower features rich royal-blue petals beautifully marked with a golden-yellow blotch and delicate white highlights, creating a striking contrast that attracts both gardeners and early pollinating insects alike.
Flowering just above slender, grass-like foliage, 'Harmony' is perfect for rock gardens, alpine beds, containers, window boxes and the front of spring borders. It also naturalises well in well-drained soils, gradually forming attractive clumps that return faithfully each year.
Awarded the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit, this charming little iris is ideal for bringing welcome colour to the garden during the closing weeks of winter. Planted alongside crocuses, snowdrops and dwarf narcissus, it creates one of the season's most uplifting displays.
A delightful miniature iris that delivers brilliant colour when it is needed most.
