Elegant and breathtakingly beautiful, Anemone coronaria 'Mount Everest' produces large, fully double flowers of the purest white, resembling miniature peonies floating above finely divided fern-like foliage.
Introduced as part of the celebrated St Brigid group, 'Mount Everest' is prized for its luxurious, fully double blooms and exceptional garden performance. The pristine white flowers bring a sense of freshness and sophistication to spring borders, containers and cut flower arrangements, while their many silky petals create a wonderfully textured display.
Named after the world's highest mountain, this variety certainly lives up to its name, producing an impressive display that stands out beautifully against both colourful and pastel planting schemes. The flowers are long-lasting in the garden and make outstanding cut flowers for the home.
Like all Anemone coronaria varieties, 'Mount Everest' originates from Mediterranean species that have been cultivated for centuries. Today it remains one of the finest white-flowered spring corms available, providing weeks of elegant blooms and valuable nectar for pollinating insects.
Plant in generous drifts for a truly spectacular spring display.
