Planting Instructions

When to Plant:

Plant in autumn (September to November) before the ground freezes.

Where to Plant:
Choose a sunny or lightly shaded spot with well-drained soil. Ideal for borders, rockeries, under deciduous trees, or naturalising in grass.

How to Plant:

  • Depth: Plant bulbs 8–10 cm (3–4 inches) deep.
  • Spacing: Leave about 3-5 cm (1-2 inches) between each bulb.
  • Place the bulb with the pointed end facing up.

Aftercare:
Crocus bulbs are hardy and require little maintenance. Allow foliage to die back naturally after flowering to nourish next year’s growth. Avoid mowing naturalised areas until the leaves have fully yellowed.

Tip:
For a natural look, gently scatter the bulbs by hand and plant where they fall. Plant in groups for the best display.
