Bursting with colour and exceptional flower power, Tulipa 'Fiery Club' is a spectacular Multi-flowering Tulip that produces a bouquet of five to eight vibrant blooms from a single bulb. Its velvety flowers open in glowing shades of scarlet-red, deep crimson and fiery orange-red, creating a dazzling display that lights up the late spring garden.

Unlike traditional tulips that bear just one flower per stem, 'Fiery Club' develops naturally branched stems carrying multiple blooms, providing an extended flowering period and an impressive floral display from every bulb. The richly coloured flowers create the effect of a ready-made bouquet, making this variety particularly rewarding in both the garden and the vase.

Flowering in late spring, 'Fiery Club' brings warmth and energy to borders, patio containers and cutting gardens. Its strong stems and abundance of blooms make it an outstanding cut flower, while its fiery colouring combines beautifully with deep purple, yellow and white tulips for bold, eye-catching planting schemes.

Easy to grow and exceptionally floriferous, Tulipa 'Fiery Club' is perfect for gardeners looking to create maximum impact with minimal effort.

Planting Instructions

When to Plant:

Plant Tulip bulbs in autumn, ideally from October to December, once the soil has cooled. Planting later in autumn helps reduce the risk of tulip diseases and encourages healthy spring flowering.

Where to Plant:
Choose a position in full sun or partial shade with fertile, well-drained soil. 'Fiery Club' is perfect for borders, patio containers, cutting gardens and mixed perennial beds.

How to Plant:

  • Depth: Plant bulbs approximately 15 cm (6 inches) deep.
  • Spacing: Space bulbs 10–15 cm (4–6 inches) apart.
  • Soil Prep: Improve heavy soils with compost and, if necessary, add horticultural grit to improve drainage.

Watering:
Water thoroughly after planting to settle the soil. Once established, tulips generally only require watering during prolonged dry spells in spring.

Aftercare Tips:

  • Remove faded flowers once blooming has finished.
  • Allow the foliage to die back naturally for at least six weeks after flowering so the bulbs can store energy for the following year.
  • Feed with a balanced fertiliser in early spring for the healthiest plants and best flowering.

Top Tip:
Each bulb produces multiple blooms, so plant 'Fiery Club' in bold groups or patio containers where its bouquet-like stems and fiery colours can be fully appreciated. It's also an outstanding variety for cutting.
