Iris unguicularis Walter Butt has longer wider leaves and is paler and more upright. It has the largest, most of the Iris unguicularis in delicate shades of lavender and ice blue. It often flowers very early and then continues for months. Eating any part of the plant may cause severe discomfort.

Planting Instructions

Iris unguicularis Walter Butt should be planted in a very sheltered, sunny site in well drained soil and allow for 12" (30cm) spread and height. Water in until established. Only tidy the foliage by pulling out old leaves as severe cutting back is not recommended.
