Lilium regale Album

Differing from Lilium regale in that these are pure white (whereas Lilium regale have a pink back to their petals) - tall lilies for the borders with large, highly scented trumpets for flowers in mid summer. The regale lilies prefer alkaline conditions.

Planting Instructions

These lily bulbs are smaller than we expected them to be. We are sorry about that, it was evidently a poor growing season for them in 2023. They will still flower. Plant in pots or garden, 4-6" (10-15cm) deep, 6" (15cm) apart in sun/part shade in well prepared soil. Be careful of the lily beetle (for which we have no answer). Vigilance in picking off the larvae and squashing any adults is all that works without chemicals.
