A truly captivating herald of spring, among the first to burst through winter’s hold with blooms that shimmer in delicate shades of silvery mauve and soft lilac. Each flower is gently feathered with deeper violet at the base, and their goblet-shaped form opens in sunlight to reveal a golden heart that delights early pollinators and gardeners alike. A reliable and vigorous variety, spreading gracefully over time to create enchanting drifts of colour

Planting Instructions

Where to Plant:

Choose a sunny or partially shaded spot with well-drained soil. These early-spring flowering crocuses are perfect for lawns, borders, rockeries, or pots.

How to Plant:

  • Depth: Plant bulbs 8–10 cm (3–4 inches) deep.
  • Spacing: Leave about 5–8 cm (2–3 inches) between bulbs.
  • Position: Plant with the pointed end facing upwards.
  • In lawns, scatter them randomly for a natural effect before planting.

Aftercare:

  • Water in after planting if the soil is dry.
  • Allow foliage to die back naturally after flowering—this helps replenish the bulb for the following year.
  • In containers, ensure good drainage and avoid waterlogging.

Top Tip:

For maximum impact, plant in groups or drifts rather than singly. They'll multiply and naturalise beautifully over time.
